Our work is designed to help educate the public about rural communities and substantive issues that impact rural areas across the United States. The institute is grounded in interdisciplinary discovery and a collaborative approach to identify innovative solutions to the challenges facing rural communities. The institute does this research by advancing community awareness, exploration and ideas that examine societal priorities, policy, practice and existing institutional structures impacting the well-being of rural communities.
